Start Space

I painted the entrance to the new Start gallery in Bristol, along with a few friends. Here's my contribution (the bus is a collaboration between all of us):

WE ARE FAUNA - 16th April 2010

I'm organising an exhibition, featuring myself and ten other Illustration and Drawing and Applied Arts students. It will be at the new Start gallery in Bristol, next to Start The Bus. A few of us recently painted the entrance to the gallery in time for the first exhibition, Teasemade by Peskimo and Chris Dickason.

Our exhibition, We Are Fauna, will start with a private view from 7pm, 16th April 2010, and run til the 27th. If you're free, come down on the opening night, there will be free drink and possibly food, and you can dress in animal fancy dress, or not, it's up to you.

Ah hahaha...ah hahaha...ah ha...ah ha...newsss

One of my entries for the Lloyds TSB Art of Nurture competition has got through to the regional final, which is exciting, as this is the closest I have ever been to having £5000...

And also, my entry to Nobrow's 'People I've Never Met And Conversations I've Never Had' competition has been chosen, along with 28 other illustrator's pieces, for the book, which is a sequel type thing to Nick White's book of the same name. This is very good news, as I like everything Nobrow have published which I've seen, and they feature some illustrators which I have a lot of respect for. Not sure when the book will be out yet, but in the meantime, here is my entry:
