Mel Gibson Screen Print

This is my first four colour seperation, and as you can see it didn't work out brilliantly. I got the dot size wrong, and the colours are slightly offset, but other than that, I'm quite happy with the result.

The image is about a person who stalked Mel Gibson, and turned up at his door, trying to pray with him after watching The Passion of The Christ. The piece was done quite quickly as a test really.

Fan Death

I made this one page comic for a zine about 6 months ago. The theme was Myths & Legends, and I chose the South Korean urban legend Fan Death. The myth is that if an electric fan is left running over night in a closed room, it can kill anyone in the room by suffocation, poisoning or hypothermia. Whatever.

Beer Mats

These are some beer mat designs I made last year, and printed using flexography. They're based on characters that I observed in various pubs, and I tried to show these through suitable styles and types of drink.

Money Is A Shared Illusion

I decided to clean up this blog and start anew.

This piece is a response to the aphorism 'Money is a shared illusion', and was created as part of a 24 hour brief, along with the other piece for the aphorism 'Change is always ahead of us, never behind'.

This is a one day group piece, illustrating the words 'moving house' and 'energetic', which were chosen randomly. The idea was to create an abstract triptych which formed a narrative.

These two images are one day group pieces also, based on well known phrases. We tried to give them a uniform aesthetic, and keep them simple.
